Chinese New Year...
There something i haven't blogged about, and that is how i spent CNY. I promised to keep u informed sis, so this ones for u...ya. Anw, well, u could say this post is for me to show the more positive side of me...i mean CNY break!...That's got to be a time of so much joy, excitement, socialising with family and just a fun time i guess. Talking about the fun and happy stuff is supposed to make one sound positive right?...well, that's wat people seem to imply. Ok, but really life's to be enjoyed too...although, that's not the main focus and purpose of life...so here some of the good things in life...
Before i begin narrating the events, i must be honest...the CNY break, wasn't like super fantastic and of course there were a fair share of troubles...so yea it wasn't perfect. But, i mean looking at the side of the glass that's filled, we had some fun during this break...not to mention, the chance to sleep in was good...i don't mean to be sadistic here, coz i do know sis had school on CNY. Just really telling u what we enjoyed about it. Through all the celebrations, we never forgot u...we rmb like how u would like eat the new year snacks and stuff, the ones u had like u had before u left. And, i'm sure mum told u that some of our cousins missed yr presence. Really, the liveliness that u bring was also missed. But, trust me u didn't miss much...was pretty much the same stuff, oh, but i think u didn't miss out on the hongbaos...you were also given a few of them in advanced rite. Of course, we would have loved yr company and u would have loved to be here...just that don't feel bad about i guess...there many more CNY's...but i'm sure u were fine rite...u went out with friends on CNY rite?...yea.
So, yea now beginning with Wednesday, we didn't do much that day but of course as u know we had the family reunion dinner at home...yea food was good. The only i guess, i must say is that we nearly had a "little argument"...u know wat i mean rite?...Yea, and it was over the fact that some of us felt that it was sadistic to let u join us as we said grace over the reunion dinner...and we were being said to have been too unenthusiastic about speaking to u but truth is we were all really excited to speak to u...so yea, it didn't begin our reunion dinner in the best way, but of course in the end in the spirit of CNY, we forgot all about it and enjoyed the dinner overall i guess.
Then, came the first day of CNY, thursday, i woke up the earliest other than the maids and grandma...haha...but still it meant waking up at almost 9am. Of course, after that u know the "drill", haha, we had to say all the well wishes and then receive our hongbaos...yea. We also called u rite...from wat i recall...and u also had yr turn as saying the CNY greetings rite i guess.
We then proceeded doing our own things that morn...i think then i did some work would u believe but i think after that i also played com with d. Then, at about 11am, we left home for vivocity...and then we ate at the cafe next to pageone...yea...and went to watch CJ7, which at first the rest were reluctant to watch...but i think in the end the movie wasn't that bad, at least better than the other possible selections. Thereafter, we got ready at home...and went to ahma's house...where yea, we had the steamboat as we always do every year...and the adults chatting, some on their phones..haha, and of course the rest playing soccer outside the house, on the road. And, they enjoyed themselves and i enjoyed watching them, in fact p actually broke a piece off the gate and we had to glue it back..lol. It was a pretty good time there i guess...and they did miss u.
Friday, we again slept late, so slept in until very late...and for most part of the day we slacked at home... Although, for me i did some homework...so hardworking, even on chinese new year..haha. Of, course in the end i didn't finish much work coz i was dragged into playing fifa with d ...but i wanted to anw. Then, at nite, They came over...for dinner, and u know who had no u to play with this time...so ya. Everything was fine...except that i was unreasonable at the end of a piercing grumbling...coz i didn't go down immediately to greet due to the fact that i was doing hw. Still, it could have been said in a nicer way. Then, while u were already in Aust, we got the WII board thing that u can use to play like the dancing games yea...s tried it. But, then she and auntie, like spend most of their time here on their PSP. For, the rest of the adults...u know it was just the usual. For p, it was more WOW on the com. J, d and i played fifa and finally for the first time completed a whole tournament before the nite ended. Yea, and they stayed until almost 11pm i think..watching some fashion show thing.
Thats about it i guess...nothing out of the ordinary but still a fun CNY i guess.
Ytd, p went out, d had chess while i spent the whole dae doing hw and even had tuition. And, the adults had to do some visitation. And, for today, yea we just got back from church...today marks the end of the CNY break...got test to prepare for as Valentine's Day approaches, and hw is due on mondae...so ya
So this was how we spend CNY...i will continue to try and post regularly and keep u informed.
