My Life In AC...!!!

Hey, so to continue from where i left off...here's a recap. I was writing about what i've learnt so far on the meaning in life. And, i gave my impression of the world's answer to the reason for going to school. The reason that i can offer though is from what i read about in the my bible where they had some applications of the bible to real life. As i mentioned in my other blog entry, i've read this many times but it didn't seem to help me in my quest to find the meaning of life but only after thinking long and hard about it. The reason it didn't help was because i felt that the answer was too simplistic and not what i imagined the answer to be. So only when i truly tried to look at it with the right perspective did i feel that i found the answer to my questions. The page that i read was talking about school. The reason we go to school is to learn and figure out how we fit into the world. It further states tt God gave each of us gifts for different parts of life and tt He wants us to do the best we can with the job He's given us to do. What was also said was tt school is a lot of work. I think its clear why at first i felt there had to be more to it...because in other words it meant tt school is important for me just for looking for a job. But, this is not just about finding a job, its making use of the talent tt God has given to us which in fact is what god wants for us, to make use of of our talents, as the parable in the bible about the servants and the talents tt they were given. Here was where i was stuck, so lets say one finds a job that he/she is gd at then since God should be the centre of our ultimate purpose, shouldn't we all just be church leaders or something like that. However, we actually can use our talents in other areas/jobs to serve God. So WHY do we serve God? Well, not only are we commanded to serve God, but more importantly we serve God because we love Him...He died for our sins. In fact, our lives will be meaningful that way and we can really only have happiness that way. Also, God gives us passion for things so that we can serve God through a job that we enjoy so tt we will do a gd job. I guess, that gives us enough reason for us to study hard because we want to serve God and others.
Now, i will move on to another aspect. Ok, firstly, what makes one a Christian...i guess simply it is because we believe in God and have faith in Him. Therefore, it brings to the point...why do we go to church, pray and read the bible if that does not make us christian...well we do these things to "feed" our faith. It keeps us close to God and thus we strengthen our faith by doing these things. Well, when i first realised this, what i thought then was that hey if we do these three things then it definitely can bring ppl to christ. All we need to do, is experience God through these things and it'll allow one to believe in christ.
Finally, i think we all love vacations and taking breaks. Well, God wants us to have fun too. God wants us to spent time with friends, family and spend time enjoying His creation...nature and everything. That's also why we go to church, to rejuvenate! We should also seek to enjoy life to rest ourselves and enjoy the life given to us.
So, we should live life according to God's purposes for our lives and at the same time enjoy every second of the life that God has given us.
