Life's Never Perfect...but Live Joyfully...

Today, i received this picture...i think its real cute, huh. But, more than the cuteness of the penguin in the snow is the meaning behind the words that this cute picture displays, although rather cliched, i think means so much to me...I guess probably i could say its also pretty relevant to my life at the moment...

Firstly, of course, taking it literally, it is meaningful to me in the sense that, i sort of have perfectionist tendencies, in that i'm kinda idealistic...so i expect myself to do so much with my life, and i expect life to be good as long as it meets my idealistic view of how life should be lived but also, i expect too much from myself at times and even expect too much of others. So i guess, the picture here kinda reminds me that, i can't be perfect and that i need to be more forgiving and not expect too much from others. Well, so to me what can be learned from this is that, we should never look down upon ourselves or anyone. Coz, God created us, and He uses our imperfections for His perfect plan for our lives and for the fulfillment of His purposes.

Another way perhaps, i feel i can look at this, is in its application to life not always being perfect. Coz, much of the unhappiness or troubles in life are as a result of the imperfect world due to all of us imperfect human beings. And, so just as we are imperfect, our lives will never be perfect. In life, we can't have everything(things and experiences), we can't always fufill all our dreams, hopes, wishes and desires. We won't always have good days and be happy always. But, we should just be joyful and happy, and pursue a life lived to the fullest. We should just try to make the most of our lives, and leave the rest to God. Most importantly, we can be joyful no matter what circumstance we are in, and that is because we have a PERFECT GOD, and Ultimately, that is what matters and He is the constant in life, and a relationship with God is one thing we can definitely have more than anything else. Coz, TRULY THE WAY TO HEAVEN IS THE EASIEST THING IN THE WORLD. We can have a relationship with God, without needing to really do anything, but ask for it. And, that is enough to be happy...and on top of that we can pursue all the other things we want and not always get it, although we should still pursue these things, but will never really be happy...the thing we really need is just to have a relatioship with God, and all the other can just make life all the more worth living.

So when you feel like your so imperfect and life is so imperfect...just remember, that you can can still rejoice, be happy and joyful because God made you and there is meaning in your life in that we have a true God to live for, and most importantly just know that we have a perfect God who will be with us always....
