God With Us...Through it all, troubles and all...
As has always been clear, my blog theme was always to be about seeing the hope and feeling the joy inspite of suffering, hardships and troubles that life so often throws at us, so it may have seemed all this while as being very negative, but my joy is not from anything in this earth, it is from God above, its not positive thinking, coz it is never enough to see us through life, the joy from God is more important...evidence of that i feel is that its useless to try and make someone who's upset happy, the won't have any of it, i mean who wants to hear someone comfort you by using all sorts of philosophy that says like absract stuff which won't make the situation any better. Therefore, that's sort of been a motto of my blog...but its so that one can see God's hand even in all the bad times and see how i grow through all these problems and struggles in life.
Just as the end of this week has approached, i experienced problems at home. Problems which i probably can't say, coz i might get "killed" saying anything about it. Strange rite that my last post i said everything was sorted out, but truly i have, of course though the problems are still there, just that my individual problems are gone i guess. What i can say about the problems i'm facing at home, is that it isn't as serious as like on the verge of a breakdown kinda thing. What it is i feel comes down to just some things, that is problems with trust, love that no one even knows if it even is true or not, priorities, respect, pride, tradition and closeness. Somehow, there's this lack of unity. I really don't know how to say it but just know that there've been many problems at home for me. But, what i really wanna say is through this suffering, i don't know what suffering everyone else goes through but i wanna say that whatever troubles you face with life, there's a couple of things to know, and one person to look to that is God. Here are the things i've learnt :
(got this from PDL)
-Firstly, there is a purpose behind every problem, and we grow through these problems.
-Next, You most profound and intimate experiences of worship will likely be in your darkest days...coz when we are in great pain and there's no one to turn to, we can only turn to God.
-One of the most appropriate of quotes that i feel means so much, and really talks about God's sovereignty and being in control in the problems we face, is this:

-One of the most appropriate of quotes that i feel means so much, and really talks about God's sovereignty and being in control in the problems we face, is this:
"We know that God causes everything to work together
for the good of those who love God and
are called according to His purpose for them.
For God knew His people in advance,
and He chose them to become like His Son"
(Romans 8:28-29)
In PDL, it is split up and explained in this way...
"We Know": Our Hope in difficult times is not based on positive thinking, wishful thinking or natural optimism. It is a certainty based on the truths that God is in complete control of our universe and that he loves us.
"that God causes": There's a Grand Designer behind everything. Your life is not a result of random chance, fate, or luck. There is a master plan. History is His story. God is pulling the strings. We make mistakes, but God never does. God cannot make a mistake, because He is God.
"everything": God's plan for your life involves all that happens to you including your mistakes, your sins, and yooour hurts. It includes, illness, debt, disasters, divorce, and death of loved ones. God can bring good out of the worst evil. He did at calvary.
"to work for together": Not separately or independently. The events in you life work together in God's plan. They are not isolated acts, but interdependent parts of the process to make you like Christ. ....If you give God all your distasteful, unpleasant experiences, He will blend them together for good.
"for the good":This does not say that everything in life is good. Much of what happens in our world is evil and bad but God specialises in bringing good out of it. ... God's purpose is greater than our problems, our pains, and even our sins.
"of those who love God and are called": This promise is for God's children not for everyone. All things work for the bad for those living in opposition with God.
"according to His purpose": What is that purpose? It is that we "become like His Son". Everything God allows to happen in your life is permitted for that purpose!
Therefore, we should never let any of the problems or troubles we face bring us down, but instead we should draw strength from God and embrace God's promises and have faith and trust in God, for He is in control.
